The Uxbridge Spartans boys’ tennis team rebounded from recent setbacks with a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Quaboag on Tuesday. After dropping consecutive matches to Leicester (1-4) and Auburn (0-5), Uxbridge came out firing on all cylinders, winning all three singles matches and both doubles flights without dropping a set. First singles set the tone, with the Spartan’s top player delivering a straight-sets win, while second and third singles followed suit with efficient victories. In doubles, the Uxbridge pairs complemented strong baseline rallies with aggressive net play.
