WRENTHAM — King Philip football supporters are getting ready for the return of the Pigskin Pig Out, with the second annual fundraiser scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 6.
The event will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature an afternoon of food, games and community activities in support of the King Philip football program.
Among the attractions planned are a barbecue, cornhole tournament and dunk tank, giving families and supporters several ways to take part while helping raise money for the team.
Organizers are encouraging members of the King Philip community to save the date and come out for an afternoon centered around football, food and fun ahead of the fall season.
A rain date of Monday, Sept. 7 has also been scheduled in case of inclement weather.
The second annual Pigskin Pig Out will take place Sept. 6 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with proceeds benefiting King Philip football.
