While the Northbridge Rams had an up-and-down spring, senior Seamus White continued to impress at the state championships. After earning SWCL First-Team All-Star honors during indoor season, placing third at SWCLs and sixth in the D5 MIAA high jump, White carried that form into outdoor competition. At the D6 MIAA outdoor meet, he placed 13th in the high jump and 19th in the 100-meter dash. He also ran on Northbridge’s 4×100 relay, which finished 14th, and then turned around to compete on the 4×400 relay, where he posted a 53.7 split, Northbridge’s fastest in that event, despite already having raced earlier in the day. Although the Rams did not crack the top 43 team scores, White’s versatility and consistency provided a bright spot. Looking ahead, White aims to improve his own marks at upcoming meets, continuing to lead by example and inspire teammates. His performances have set a high bar for Northbridge track, and his focus now shifts to breaking personal bests before the season concludes.
