The Northbridge Rams are riding a wave of momentum this season, boasting a 13-4 record with four consecutive wins. Much of their success can be attributed to senior captain Molly Gahan, whose stellar play has become the heartbeat of the team. Gahan recently earned a spot on the shortlist for Hometown Central Massachusetts Girls’ Basketball Player of the Week after posting a season-high 29 points against the Notre Dame Academy Rebels. Earlier this month, she joined the prestigious 1,000-point club, becoming only the third girl in Northbridge High School history to reach that milestone.

Heading into the 2025 Clark Tournament, Gahan’s leadership will be crucial as the Rams seek to avenge their heartbreaking 2024 finals loss to Tantasqua—a game in which she scored 22 of the team’s 29 points. Although Tantasqua is absent this year, Northbridge faces a formidable challenge against the undefeated Oakmont Regional Spartans, who boast a perfect 15-0 record. Looking ahead to Saturday the 15th at 11 am at Oakmont Regional High School (9 Oakmont Drive, Ashburnham, MA 01430), the Rams are determined to rewrite last year’s disappointing narrative. With Gahan’s inspiring play and unwavering commitment, the team is poised for redemption and a strong tournament run.
