That stretch has the program searching for answers before the playoffs begin, and while the tie against BVT provided a stopgap, Northbridge will need to find consistency quickly.
The Beavers, meanwhile, have been a fringe playoff club this year with the No. 30 seed in D3 boys soccer. They have shown flashes of competitiveness but remain outside the comfortable playoff picture.
Northbridge will take a break to focus on fundamentals in practice before heading into a key matchup next Tuesday against the Tantasqua Warriors. Tantasqua has been outstanding at 10-1-3 and carries the No. 5 seed in D3 soccer; the Rams will need to be at their best to end their recent winless run and regain momentum for the postseason push.
