Northbridge squared off with a previously unbeaten David Prouty squad and handed the Panthers their first loss in authoritative fashion, a 91-57 result that provided a major momentum boost. Marcus MacLeod led the charge with 30 points, while sharpshooter Antonio D’Alfonso knocked down six three-pointers for 18 points. Inside-out scoring helped the Rams build and sustain a big lead throughout the second half.

The club improved to 6-4 on the season after winning four straight following an early 2-4 stretch. Recent wins included Millis, Hopedale, Assabet, and David Prouty, and the Rams now prepare to face Hudson on Monday at 7 p.m. The Rams had another fantastic performance against Assabet, winning 63-57. In their matchup against the Aztecs, Northbridge was carried by Anthony Becerril and Antonio D’Alfonso, who combined for 31 points. The Rams were down 28-23 going into the second half, and put together a dominant 40-29 second half to come back and secure the win.

Hudson arrives with a 5-2 record, and that matchup should provide a clear test of Northbridge’s ability to sustain the scoring balance that fueled this blowout.
