The Holliston Panthers have won four of their last five games, improving to 9–6 on the season with a hard-fought 5–4 victory over rival Medway on Friday. After a humbling 9–1 loss at Leominster, the Panthers rebounded by topping Natick, Medfield, and Dover-Sherborn before edging Medway in league play. Cleanup hitter Ty Bosselman tallied two hits, a double, and two RBIs, while Ben Maiorano went 3–4 with an RBI, fueling Holliston’s rally. The Panthers matched Medway’s early score in the first inning and seized the lead with a run in the third. After Medway knotted the game in the fifth, Holliston answered immediately in the bottom half and held on through defensive stands, despite five fielding errors, culminating in a game-sealing putout in the sixth. Today at 4 PM, Holliston hosts Norton, which enters at 3–7 after recent league losses. Against a Lancers squad that has struggled to generate offense, the Panthers’ balanced lineup and improved pitching staff will aim to secure a fifth win in six games and solidify their standing as a mid-season league contender.
