Northbridge Softball Catching Fire Midseason

After a shaky start, the Northbridge softball team is beginning to turn things around. The Rams opened their season 1-3, but they’ve rattled off three straight wins, including a convincing 9-4 victory over Grafton. The win pushes them back to .500, with key contributions from several players leading the way. Pitcher Kylie Grazulis has been a steadying force during the turnaround, tossing a complete game with five strikeouts against Grafton. Outfielder Kallie Tevepaugh had a breakout game at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBIs to carry the offense. The Rams’ improvement has come through more consistent pitching, tighter defense, and a surging offense that’s averaging over nine runs during their win streak. That growth will be put to the test today against undefeated Tantasqua Regional, currently 11-0 and one of the top-ranked teams in the state. Northbridge will need another complete effort to pull off a major upset and keep their momentum alive.
