The Northbridge Rams girls’ soccer team continued its hot start with a dominant 7-1 victory over the Bellingham Blackhawks. The Rams attacked from the opening whistle and controlled much of the match tempo, jumping to a multi-goal lead in the first half.

Ellory Manning led the offensive charge with a hat trick and two assists, while Brooklyn Thibeault added a goal and an assist. Kallie Tevepaugh, Kate Leonard, and Natalie Fasold also contributed goals, reflecting a balanced scoring attack that poses challenges for opposing defenses. The Rams defended well as a unit, limiting Bellingham’s chances and preserving confidence in goal.

Northbridge’s form echoes their season opener, a 6-0 victory over Bay Path, and moves the team to 2-0. Monday, the Rams travel to Millbury at 6 PM for another early-season test; Millbury enters with something to prove, so Northbridge will need to sustain the finishing, defensive organization and goalkeeping that have carried them so far.

With the depth to spread scoring across multiple players and a back line that has been difficult to break down, Northbridge appears poised for another competitive season and will look to keep building momentum as the schedule ramps up.
