The Northbridge Rams returned to the win column with a commanding 40-6 victory over Bay Path, improving to 3-1 on the season and showing why their offense has been so productive this year. After a tough loss to Auburn the previous week, the Rams responded by executing at a high level on both sides of the ball.

Quarterback Joel LaChapelle was the game’s catalyst, completing 17 of 28 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns while also adding a rushing score. His ability to stretch the field and find playmakers consistently put Northbridge in favorable down-and-distance situations. On the other side, Bay Path’s Gabe Ortiz managed 92 rushing yards and a touchdown, but the Rams’ defensive structure limited his big-play opportunities and forced the Minutemen to play from behind for much of the game.

Through the early slate, Northbridge is averaging roughly 38 points per game while allowing about 17, a margin that underscores their offensive firepower and steadily improving defense. The Rams now turn their attention to Tantasqua, a 3-1 unit coming off a convincing win. That upcoming matchup will be a measuring stick for Northbridge as they look to validate their résumé against another regional contender and maintain momentum heading into the midseason stretch.
