Northbridge Legion Looks to Rebound Against Hudson

Northbridge Legion Baseball opened the season strong with a 3-0 start but has since struggled, entering the weekend with a 3-3 record after dropping three straight contests. As they prepare to face Hudson on tomorrow at 11 AM, Northbridge hopes to reset and return to early-season form. Their most recent outing was a 6-0 loss to Northborough on Wednesday. While the offense couldn’t push across a run, Jacob Costello stood out by going 3-for-3 with a walk. On the mound, Luke Charron and Evan Pupka combined for three innings of scoreless relief, allowing just three hits and striking out three batters.

Sunday’s game against North County was a low-scoring nail-biter. Both teams scored in the first inning, but Northbridge couldn’t capitalize after that and fell 2-1. Over the past two games, the team has tallied only one run and will need the bats to wake up to snap the skid. Fortunately, Hudson comes into Saturday’s game with a 1-5 record. Northbridge has a prime opportunity to turn things around and will be looking to make a statement at Guidotti Field.
