Northbridge baseball punched its ticket to the Division 4 quarterfinals with a dramatic 4-2 extra-inning win over East Bridgewater. Coming off a dominant 9-3 win over Rockland, the No. 10 Rams continued their postseason surge by taking down the seventh-seeded Vikings in a hard-fought road game. J.P. Bolduc was a key figure on both sides of the ball. He pitched nine strong innings, allowing just two runs while striking out four, and also chipped in at the plate with a double and an RBI. In the tenth, Ryan Miley closed the door on East Bridgewater to secure the win and keep Northbridge’s playoff hopes alive. Northbridge entered the game with confidence after its big win over Rockland and carried that energy into another solid all-around performance. The Rams limited mistakes and stepped up when it mattered most, finding just enough offense to edge out the Vikings. The Rams will now face the winner of Stoneham and Lynnfield in the quarterfinals, one win away from a trip to the Final Four.
