The Nipmuc boys’ lacrosse team capped its regular season with an emphatic 10–3 win over Attleboro on Friday afternoon. Facing a Bombardiers squad that came in with a 15–4 record, the Warriors put together one of their most complete performances of the year. Caden Mastroianni led the attack with four goals and an assist, while Trevor Roadman notched a hat trick and Cooper Chaves chipped in two more. The offense flowed with crisp ball movement and smart decision-making, rotating to get the best possible matchup throughout the game. While the defense limited Attleboro’s opportunities and capitalized in transition. Goalie Brayden Silveria was a wall in the net, recording 11 saves to anchor the win. Nipmuc closed out the year at 9–7 and ranked inside the top 15 in their division, putting them in a solid playoff position. The Warriors have now won three of their last four and appear to be hitting their stride at the perfect time. With a balanced roster and playoff experience, they could be poised to upset higher seeds in the weeks ahead. Make sure to keep an eye on Nipmuc as a dark-horse candidate in the playoffs.
