The Nipmuc Warriors boys’ lacrosse team leveled its record at 7–7 with a commanding 20–10 victory over the Blackstone Valley Tech Beavers Tuesday afternoon. After trading wins and losses, Nipmuc found its offensive groove, led by Trevor Roadman’s six-goal outburst and Caden Mastroianni’s four goals and one assist. From the opening draw, the Warriors seized control, converting unsettled possessions into quick strikes and showcasing crisp feeding to cutters. Defensively, Nipmuc forced turnovers and won ground balls, fueling fast-break opportunities that extended their lead. The face-off unit also held firm, giving the attack consistent chances to press home the advantage. Looking forward, Nipmuc will host the AMSA Eagles this Friday at 6 PM. Entering at 6–8, AMSA presents a challenge but offers Nipmuc a chance to build momentum before the playoffs. To keep its season alive, Nipmuc will need balanced scoring, sustained defensive pressure, and strong goaltending. A win against the Eagles would move the Warriors above .500 and strengthen their positioning in the MIAA D4 power rankings ahead of the season’s final stretch.
