Milford’s boys volleyball team has been stellar this season, improving to 7–1 and earning the No. 15 ranking in the state. The Scarlet Hawks have shown remarkable consistency, winning seven of eight matches by decisive 3–0 or 3–1 scores and rarely allowing opponents to mount comebacks. Their lone setback came in a 3–0 loss to No. 8 Wayland, a top‑ranked powerhouse. Rather than get discouraged, Milford responded emphatically in their very next outing, sweeping King Philip Regional 25‑10, 25‑20, 25‑16. The straight‑set victory highlighted the Hawks’ balanced attack and defensive toughness, proving they could dominate from start to finish. With momentum fully on their side, Milford now turns its attention to a Thursday showdown against Boston College High at 5:15 PM. The Eagles offer a stiff test, and the Hawks will look to maintain their aggressive play and close‑out strength as they aim to extend their win streak and climb even higher in the state standings.
