Milford Volleyball Honored With Several All-Stars

Milford Boys Volleyball had a season to remember in more ways than one, finishing their season with an impressive 12-9 record in the regular season and making the playoffs. While the Milford Scarlet-Hawks lost in the round of 16, they had an impressive D1 season led by stellar individual campaigns. Because of this, three Scarlet-Hawks were named Hockomock All-Stars. Defensive Specialist Mayck Moreira, and Outside Hitters Diego Inacio-Santos and Gustavo Da Silva were the three Milford inclusions in this list, with teammate Colin Greco being an honorable mention, just missing the roster. Milford fell to Taunton in the round of 16, led by Hockomock MVP Daniel Freitas, which makes their loss more understandable. Especially considering how Milford was reeling after their beloved teammate Marcelo Gomes da Silva was abruptly taken by ICE right before their match. Seniors like Da Silva get to leave Milford with their heads held high after a memorable campaign and playoff run, while players like Moreira will look to build on this successful campaign and aim for the round of 8 next season for Milford. Look for Milford to make a run next season in both the Hockomock League and D1 volleyball in the playoffs.
