Milford boys’ track and field had a strong showing at the MIAA Division 3 State Championships, highlighted by elite performances from senior Aloiye Okhipo and the 4×100 relay team. Okhipo was a standout in the 110M hurdles, placing second with a blazing time of 14.43 seconds. That run added to a stellar season that included a meet-record 14.82 at the MSTCA Warrior Invitational. He carried that momentum into the MIAA Meet of Champions, where he ran a 14.34 and placed fourth overall. Aloiye proved this season that he is among the top hurdlers in the state, and has had an impeccable senior season. Milford also captured gold in the 4×100 relay, with Jarrett Brown, John Arruda, Shawn Pierce, and Taylor Feliciano combining for a personal-best time of 43.03 seconds. The win was a statement for the program’s sprinting core, proving they can compete with anyone in the state. With Okhipo and the relay squad leading the way, Milford capped its season with strong postseason showings. The team’s success on both the individual and relay fronts highlights a deep talent pool that bodes well for future seasons.
