The Milford boys’ track and field team delivered a stellar showing last Thursday at the MSTCA Warrior Invitational, led by senior standout Aloiye Okhipo. Okhipo was sensational, breaking two records during the meet. He dominated the 110-meter hurdles, setting a meet record with a time of 14.82 seconds—an impressive .69 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. Okhipo wasn’t done there, playing a major role in another record-breaking effort as part of Milford’s 4×100 relay team. The group, featuring Shawn Pierce, Taylor Feliciano, John Arruda, and Okhipo, clocked a personal-best 43.63 seconds to take first place. Milford’s success at the invitational highlights the depth and talent of this squad as they continue their season. The Scarlet Hawks now turn their attention to today’s meet against Attleboro at Milford High School, set for a 3:45 PM start. Building off their record-setting momentum, Milford will aim to add another strong performance to their resume.
