Milford Reaches 15 Straight Wins In Dominant Fashion

Milford Legion baseball is on fire this season by every metric imaginable. The boys of Milford have been dominant all year, now owning a 15-0 record after last night’s win over Leominster. It’s not just that Milford is winning games , they’re controlling them, with an outstanding 172 runs for and 32 runs against differential.

That season-long trend continued last night against a solid Leominster team, where Milford rolled to a 7-1 win. As has been the case throughout the season, Milford started the scoring early, plating three runs in the second inning. Leominster answered with a run of their own, but Milford’s explosive offense responded with four more to essentially seal the deal.

Milford’s pitching staff and defensive personnel are too reliable to let go of a six-run lead, showing just how dangerous this team truly is. Tyler Ballard had a quality start in this one, and Hatherley and Pedroli contributed 2.1 innings of scoreless relief. Nate Pedroli also helped his own cause at the plate, driving in two runs. Milford has so many contributors, making it a well-oiled machine. Their next stop is Framingham tonight at 7 PM.
