Milford Post 59 Legion Baseball has stormed through the early season and enters the Gubby Underwood Tournament riding an impressive seven-game win streak. Playing three games from Monday to Wednesday this week, Milford’s dominance has been impossible to ignore. In their first seven matchups, Milford outscored opponents 94-18, showcasing a lineup firing on all cylinders and a pitching staff that continues to get the job done.
As Milford heads to the prestigious tournament at Alumni Field in Keene, they’ll face a strong slate of challengers. The Titans Prospect team from Montreal awaits today at 7 PM. Tomorrow, Milford will battle Leominster at noon and the Keene Post team at 6 PM. Their tournament weekend concludes Sunday with a noon matchup against South Kingston, with a potential championship game scheduled for 3 PM. Each opponent will provide a new test for a Milford team that has been close to untouchable in all phases so far.
