Milford Legion Baseball capped the regular season exactly as they began it, undefeated. Entering the weekend with a perfect 16–0 record, the Legion took down Hudson, Cherry Valley, and No. 2–seeded Shrewsbury by a combined score of 36–1. Over three games, only Shrewsbury managed to touch the scoreboard, plating a lone run before Milford answered with an emphatic 13–1 mercy–rule win in just five innings.

That Shrewsbury contest was the highlight: after surrendering a run in the top of the first, Milford erupted for nine runs in the bottom half. Dylan Ruff drove in four, and Nick Pedroli launched a homer and added two more RBIs. The mercy rule cut the game short, but not the onslaught.

Milford then rematched Framingham, victimized 16–6 the week prior, and delivered another 16-0 blowout to close the regular season undefeated at 20–0. They outscored Framingham by double digits once again, showing that their balanced roster and relentless offense can overwhelm any opponent.

Now, as postseason play looms, Milford enters as the heavy favorite. Their undefeated record, combined with a league–best run differential and performances from dozens of contributors, sets the stage for a championship run. Milford will look to carry this momentum into the playoffs and finish the year as champions.
