Milford Legion Baseball Facing Tough Challenge In Shrewsbury

Milford Legion baseball is coming off a dominant victory over Hudson Legion baseball this Friday Afternoon, which keeps Milford firmly in control of their division. Milford has been untouchable this season, currently owning a dominant 12-0 record for the season, with no signs of slowing down. Milford faced off against Hudson Friday afternoon, and destroyed them 14-1. Milford had many standout performances but none more noteworthy than Sean Mcgee who went 2/4 at the plate with an inside the park homerun, a double and five RBIs. Mcgee had a dominant performance and highlighted the depth and quality of this Milford roster. Milford also beat Northborough Thursday night in convincing fashion, winning by a  7-2 score and showing their dominance is sustainable against every team in their division. In this one, Keith Lee and Tyler Ballard had vintage performances with Keith going 3/3 from the field and Tyler tossing four innings of zero hit baseball and striking out four along the way. Looking ahead, Milford will look to get their win streak to thirteen tonight against Shrewsbury at home at 7:30 PM. Shrewsbury is an excellent team in their own right owning the two seed in their division. These two squads faced off for Shrewsbury’s first game of the season and Milford took care of business winning 8-2. A lot has changed since then so expect Shrewsbury to put up a great fight and look to upset the undefeated favorites.
