MILFORD — The Milford High School football team opened its 2026 season in impressive fashion Thursday night, earning a convincing 49-7 victory over Framingham in the season opener.
Milford set the tone early, building a 34-0 lead by halftime before continuing to pull away in the second half. The offense was led by quarterback Vincent Loscerbo, who delivered a standout performance with 89 passing yards and three touchdown passes.
Wide receiver Eli Rosenberg was the biggest beneficiary of Loscerbo’s strong night, recording 120 receiving yards and three touchdowns on just three receptions as the Milford offense found the end zone repeatedly.
The victory moves Milford to 1-0 on the season as the Hawks begin their push through the 2026 high school football schedule.
Milford will look to keep the momentum going next week when they travel to take on King Philip. Kickoff is scheduled for Friday night at 6 p.m. Framingham will also be on the road to visit Shrewsbury at 6:30 PM on Friday as well.
