The MetroWest YMCA is celebrating a successful summer season for its 45-member swim team, the Stingrays.
Led by Head Coach Becca Harrington, along with Lori Lavigne and Lay Toutant, the Stingrays spent the summer building their swimming skills while developing strong connections with their teammates.
Swimmers participated in weekly practices and meets throughout the season, culminating in the League Championship at the beginning of August.
Beyond competition in the pool, the summer program gave swimmers an opportunity to learn the importance of supporting their teammates, challenging themselves and working together as part of a team.
The MetroWest YMCA said the season provided swimmers with experiences that extended beyond swimming, helping them grow as athletes and teammates while creating lasting memories along the way.
