The Medway Co-op girls’ alpine ski team made history on February 12, capturing its first-ever Central Mass Conference Ski League title. This breakthrough victory marked a milestone for the program, solidifying Medway’s presence in competitive skiing.
Leading the way were Elle Heiden, Charlotte Richmond, Margaret Morton, and Keira Davis, who delivered standout performances. Richmond and Heiden not only helped secure the team title but also qualified for states, with Heiden finishing second in the state. Heiden and Richmond both placed in the top four overall, while Davis finished in the top 10.
With this landmark achievement, Medway’s alpine ski team has cemented itself as a rising force. All eyes now turn to the State Championship, where Heiden and Richmond will compete on Tuesday, February 25, at Berkshire East Mountain Resort.
