The Medfield Warriors closed out the Warrior Classic with authority, downing Dighton-Rehoboth 79-61 to claim the tournament crown. Thomas Behrmann starred, pouring in 33 points and reaching the 1,000-point milestone for his Medfield career in the process, a milestone that punctuates a memorable senior season. Alex Sokolowski added 15 points, and Greyson Vogt chipped in 12 as the Warriors controlled the offensive glass and pushed the pace effectively.

Medfield’s balanced scoring and defensive attention to detail helped the Warriors build a lead and maintain it through the second half. The win caps a superb regular season in which Medfield finished 17-3 and earned a No. 9 ranking in D3 hoops. Behrmann’s play earned him recognition as the TVL Small MVP, and he closed his Medfield career on a high note with both the scoring outburst and the tournament title.

The Warriors will soon learn their Round of 32 playoff opponent, and expectations are high that Medfield can make a deep tournament run. With a talented senior core and balanced roster, the Warriors will look to carry the momentum from the Warrior Classic into postseason play and beyond.
