McCormack Becomes Medfield’s All-Time Rushing King in 38-6 Rout

The Medfield Warriors football team continued its dominant season last weekend with a 38-6 victory over the Millis Mohawks. Medfield entered the game as the massive favorites and immediately showed why they’re among the best teams in D5 football.

The Warriors were dominant in this one and got a vintage performance from RB Barry McCormack. The offense ran through McCormack once again, and in this game, he made history. Barry broke Medfield’s program career rushing yards record in the win over Millis, eclipsing the 4,005 mark set by Mike Lane 18 years ago.

McCormack and the Warriors will look to improve to 7-0 on Friday at 6:30 PM against the Bellingham Blackhawks. Bellingham is sitting at 4-2 and No. 14 in the D6 power rankings, coming off an impressive 23-7 win over Dover-Sherborn last week. The Warriors currently sit at No. 2 in the D5 power rankings, behind just Foxborough, and will look to continue their momentum in the coming weeks and hopefully claim the No. 1 spot.
