The Hopkinton Hillers boys’ tennis team continued its unbeaten run by blanking the Westwood Wolverines 5–0 yesterday, improving to a perfect 15–0 on the season. Hopkinton’s singles players, Rishit Shekhar, Max Sendele, and Ilian Glace, each dropped one game or fewer, showcasing technical precision and relentless court coverage. The doubles teams sealed the sweep, with Harshil Thakkalapally and Vaibhave Singh notching their first varsity wins in commanding fashion. This victory reinforces Hopkinton’s No. 1 ranking in the MIAA power listings and highlights the program’s blend of top-end talent and roster depth. Every player has contributed to the undefeated record, while the coaching staff has maintained focus on fundamentals and match preparation. As the playoffs approach, Hopkinton will look to carry this momentum into the postseason, where they aim to add a state title to their impressive regular-season resume. But the Hillers must be mindful and stay in the moment until the playoffs begin, they must keep their focus as sharp as it has been if they want to finish the job.
