Hopkinton’s boys tennis team wrapped up a sensational regular season with a flawless 18–0 record, cementing itself as one of the top programs in the state. Their final victory, a 5–0 sweep over Norwood on Senior Day, was a microcosm of their season: dominant, disciplined, and deep. Each match featured precise serving, sharp ball placement, and unrelenting rallies that left little room for error. The Hillers’ consistency in league play earned them the Tri-Valley League title and seven all-star selections: Max Sendele, Ilian Glace, Rishit Shekhar, Kais Guessab, Chavdar Kamenerov, and Owen Gormley. Hopkinton’s lineup is so deep that it could be considered an all-star team on its own. After falling in the quarterfinals last season and graduating several seniors, expectations were tempered entering 2024. But this year’s group exceeded all projections, storming through their schedule with unmatched cohesion and focus. With the regular season behind them, the Hillers now shift their attention to the postseason, where they enter as one of the clear favorites to win it all. Hopkinton has been untouchable all season, and aims to keep that reputation in the playoffs.
