Uxbridge High School’s Morgan Charbonnier earned a Mid-Mass League Lacrosse all-star bid after her season playing for Hopedale as part of a Co-Op program. Uxbridge has a partnership with Hopedale to allow their students to play for Hopedale’s girls lacrosse team, which explains Morgan’s status. The Blue Raiders girls’ lacrosse team had a solid regular season campaign overall, ending the year with an impressive 13-5 record, good enough for the No. 28 seed in D4 Lacrosse. The Blue Raiders had many highlights over the season, with their incredible ten-game win streak at the top of the list. The Blue Raiders, unfortunately, faced off against Powerhouse Weston in the Round of 32, which proved to be too steep a hill to climb. Despite this ending, Morgan was a vital part of Hopedale’s transition attack and offense, making big plays throughout the season. Morgan will look to build on her stellar season for the Blue Raiders in her senior year next season and aim for a deeper playoff run and perhaps even more accolades along the way.
