The Hopedale Blue Raiders boys golf team picked up another solid win Tuesday afternoon, topping Keefe Tech 153–179 to improve to 5-0 on the young season. The team once again received strong performances from its top players: Colin Hayes and Jacob Whyte medaled with matching 37s, while Cam Vaillette chipped in a 39 to round out the scoring.
Hopedale has been busy early, squeezing multiple matches into a short span. The Raiders went 3-0 across four days before beating Douglas last Friday to move to 4-0, and have since added the Keefe Tech victory to maintain an undefeated start. Their closest test so far came against Nipmuc, a match decided 174–185, where Brady Wajda stepped up with a medal-winning effort to help secure the win.
With consistent output from the top of the lineup and growing depth through the roster, Hopedale looks well-positioned as the schedule ramps up. The Blue Raiders will host Milford at Hopedale Country Club next, a matchup that should further reveal their readiness for the stretch run. Given the steady play so far, Hopedale is shaping up to be a team to watch in the region.
