Holliston Panthers sophomore Cody Bloom earned a spot on the Boston Globe’s 2025 All‑Scholastics roster after a breakout season on the boys’ tennis team. Despite an early‑season injury, Bloom returned stronger than ever, running his singles record to 12–0 in Tri‑Valley play and capturing Tri‑Valley MVP honors.

His standout play powered Holliston to the Division 3 Round of 8, where they fell to eventual champion Bedford. Bloom also qualified for the USTA Individual Tournament quarterfinals, only to forfeit due to lingering injury concerns. Even so, his combination of consistent groundstrokes, court coverage, and competitive fire marked him as one of the state’s best underclassmen.

Now a reigning conference MVP and Globe All‑Scholastic, Bloom enters his junior year with lofty goals: leading Holliston to a state team championship and making a deep run in the USTA field, health permitting. With an offseason to build strength and refine his game, expect Bloom to be a major contender at both the team and individual levels next spring. Expect the Panthers to be a formidable force this upcoming season and the next.
