The Holliston girls’ indoor track team successfully defended its title at the 2024-25 D4 State Championship on Saturday, February 15, dominating the competition with a total of 69 points. Seniors Maggie Kuchman and Kaitlyn Quealy led the way with standout performances.
Kuchman excelled in the distance events, winning the 1000-meter race in 3:02.25 and the mile race in 5:09.46. Quealy showcased her speed in the sprints, capturing first place in the 300-meter with an impressive time of 41.45 seconds.
With this victory, Holliston has now claimed three of the last four state championships, solidifying its reputation as a powerhouse program. Despite high expectations, the team rose to the challenge, led by the exceptional efforts of Kuchman and Quealy.
