HOLLISTON — Residents and visitors are invited to celebrate Holliston’s agricultural roots during the annual Holliston Farms Day on Sunday, September 13th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The community event will feature several local farms opening their doors for a day filled with activities, demonstrations, food, and family-friendly experiences. Participating locations include August Farm, Boston Honey Company, Bullard Memorial Farm, and Outpost Farm.
At August Farm, located at 179 Highland Street, visitors can enjoy a bake sale, tattoos, hayrides, and pony rides. Boston Honey Company at 45 Chestnut Street will offer guests a look inside the honey room, along with honey demonstrations, fresh honey extraction, and honey tasting.
Bullard Memorial Farm at 7 Bullard Lane will showcase Holliston’s agricultural history with historical displays, museum access, and an apple press demonstration. Meanwhile, Outpost Farm at 216 Prentice Street will feature hayrides, live music, an apple cider donut machine, and corn and tomato tasting.
Whether families are looking to learn more about local farming, enjoy seasonal activities, or spend the day exploring Holliston’s farms, organizers say there will be something for everyone to experience.
