Franklin freshman John Woodall had a season for the books, wrapping up an undefeated campaign with multiple championships. Woodall capped off his rookie year by capturing the Hockomock title, a Division 1 State title, an All States accolade, and most recently, a New England Championship. Competing in the 106-pound division, he won every match he entered, joining an exclusive group of Franklin wrestlers who have hoisted the prestigious New England championship.
Finishing with an immaculate 54-0 record, Woodall showcased exceptional talent and determination, marking him as one of the brightest new stars in Franklin’s wrestling program. His dominance on the mat not only solidified his reputation but also set a high bar for what’s to come.
Looking ahead, Woodall is eager to build on this remarkable campaign over the next three years at Franklin High.
