Franklin Panthers Extend Dynasty With another State Title

Franklin’s cheer program once again reinforced its standing as one of the region’s premier dynasties by capping a dominant winter campaign with a state title and more hardware from prominent regional events. The Panthers took first at the Cupids Cheer Classic Coed Division, won the Hockomock Division, placed first at Regionals, and then secured the 2026 Winter State crown. That state title gave Franklin its 16th overall and further cemented a run of remarkable consistency.

The program’s recent stretch includes a string of fall and winter championships across multiple years, and Franklin enters nationals with momentum after also claiming a national title last season. The outgoing seniors have been central to the sustained excellence. Emily Bartlett, Cassidy Stanley, and Aeriel Orrell have helped maintain a standard of preparation and performance that younger teammates can emulate.

With nationals approaching, Franklin will aim to defend its national crown and add another chapter to a decade-plus run of dominance. That effort will rely on depth, clean technique and the program culture that has repeatedly produced championship results.
