Medway girls’ lacrosse is battling through adversity after dropping four straight games, including an 11-16 loss to Hopkinton Monday night. Despite the team’s struggles, senior captain Ella Taylor reached a major career milestone, scoring her 100th career goal. Taylor has been the program’s cornerstone during her high school career, consistently producing even in losing efforts. Medway now sits at 4-6, and while the recent skid has made the playoff picture murky, Taylor’s leadership continues to provide a spark. Her 100-goal milestone is a testament to her consistency and impact, especially coming off a 3-15 season last year. The Mustangs will aim to end their losing streak against Dedham on Wednesday at 6 PM in a critical game to stay in the hunt. With Taylor at the helm, there’s still belief in the locker room that Medway can course-correct and make a run at the postseason in her final campaign.
