Nipmuc’s Eben Consigli is up for the prestigious 2025 Metrowest Daily News Male Athlete of the Year due to his excellent play in the 2024-2025 year. Eben was a multi-sport star this year, having excellent seasons in football, track and field, and basketball. Eben was fantastic for the Warriors football team, finishing the year with 960 yards as Nipmuc’s lead back and contributing great play defensively as a linebacker as well. Consigli was one of Nipmuc’s most consistent offensive players, and was arguably their greatest weapon for the season. As for the basketball team, Eben was a consistent force throughout the year as a forward. Eben provided a scoring presence with consistent defensive intensity, which helped his squad reach 14-8 on the year. Lastly, Eben was a star for Nipmuc’s Outdoor Track and Field season. Eben’s specialty was the Discus throw, where he captured a D5 state championship and performed well at the Meet of Champions and New England’s.
