The Whitinsville-Christian Crusaders girls’ soccer team finished their season with a morale-boosting 3-0 victory over the Millbury Woolies, capping a difficult year with a strong final performance. The Crusaders end the regular season 3-11-2, but showed resilience during a late stretch that included improved results.

Hailey Kindl, Maddie Arrigan, and Aletta Osterman each scored for Whitinsville, while Molly Chambers and Lily Brochu provided key assists to create scoring opportunities. The win was well-earned after the Crusaders navigated a brutal midseason run, and it could give the squad confidence heading into the D5 playoffs.

Despite the overall record, Whitinsville should earn a No. 10 seed in the D5 bracket thanks to the strength of schedule and late-season form. The coaching staff emphasized the team’s progress in recent matches and expects to lean on the momentum generated by this finale as they prepare for postseason competition.

For a program that faced adversity this year, finishing with a shutout and contributions across the roster gives the Crusaders a sense of optimism as they turn the page toward playoff preparations.
