Nipmuc’s own Charlotte Leitch has been named to the Telegram & Gazette’s Spring 2025 Softball Super Team after a phenomenal freshman campaign. Leitch anchored a Warriors squad that reached the Division 3 final four, falling only to eventual champion Dighton‑Rehoboth.
On the mound, Leitch went 13–1 with a 1.45 ERA, fanning 122 batters across 86 innings, performances that earned her DVC Pitcher of the Year honors. She dominated every stage, from regular season to playoffs, highlighted by a one‑hit, 11‑strikeout shutout in the quarterfinals. Her command of multiple pitches and ability to neutralize opposing lineups made her the clear ace.
Leitch’s impact extended to the batter’s box. She hit .425 with 28 RBIs, supplying key extra‑base hits and delivering in clutch situations. Her combination of power, poise, and pitching prowess made her a true dual threat.
Despite her youth, Leitch already ranks among the state’s top performers. As a freshman, she set a foundation for sustained excellence. Expect Nipmuc to remain a contender with Leitch leading the rotation and contributing at the plate throughout her high school career.
