Bravehearts Shine in All-Star Game

The Worcester Bravehearts were front and center during the FCBL All-Star Game festivities, making a strong impression at both the Home Run Derby and the game itself. Star slugger Jackson Marshall advanced to the semifinals of the Derby, showcasing the power that’s made him one of the league’s most feared hitters.

Worcester sent six players to the All-Star Game, a testament to the team’s 34-12 record and first-place standing. On Team Hearts were Kaleb Woodward, Will Kraemer, and Evan O’Rourke, while Team Smiles featured Marshall, Ryan LeClair, and Jaylem Sepulveda. The league-leading Bravehearts have been dominant all season, and that success was well represented.

Marshall currently ranks second in both RBIs and home runs, while Woodward and Marshall are top-five in batting average. Sepulveda also ranks among the top six in RBIs, rounding out a potent Bravehearts offense.

During the game, Team Smiles ran away with a dominant 14-2 victory. Kraemer and Woodward were standouts for Worcester, helping their squad to a statement win in the showcase event. With six selections and multiple strong performances, the Bravehearts cemented their status as the league’s most dangerous team heading into the final stretch.
