Blackstone-Millville’s football team has rebounded from a rough start to level out at .500 after a solid stretch of play. The Chargers dropped their first two games, then gutted out a tight 14-12 win over Montachusett RVT in week three and followed with an impressive performance against St. Bernard’s Central Catholic.

Against SBCC, quarterback Karson Cournoyer exploded, accounting for 232 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. Running back Nathan Kaczor carried the ground game, rushing for 202 yards on 15 attempts, including a 75-yard touchdown burst and two scores. The offense looked balanced and explosive; the defense tightened when necessary to preserve the margin.

Blackstone-Millville will face a tough test this Saturday at noon versus Leicester, a 3-1 team that rolled to a 40-8 win last week. The Chargers will need a complete effort, consistent quarterback play, continued rushing success from Kaczor, and disciplined defensive assignments to keep the momentum. If Blackstone can replicate the firepower and situational execution shown versus SBCC, they should be well-positioned to push for another victory. Make sure to catch this one to see if the Chargers can stay hot and capture win number three.
