The Bellingham Blackhawks boys’ volleyball team closed out the regular season in impressive fashion, improving to 15–5 overall. Over their last ten matches, the Blackhawks posted an 8–2 mark. In the final five, they edged Millis 3–2, fell to a top ten Medfield squad, then rebounded with wins over Westwood, Dighton-Rehoboth, and capped the stretch by sweeping King Philip Regional last night. Their only setback in this stretch came against Medfield, a 12–6 team ranked among the state’s best. The Blackhawks responded by regaining control: they defeated Westwood in a tight contest before posting convincing 3–0 sweeps of Dighton-Rehoboth and King Philip, demonstrating balanced offense and stifling defense. Throughout these matches, Bellingham’s precise serving and disciplined digging fueled their attack, while their front-line blockers neutralized opponents’ swings. That cohesiveness and depth have positioned the Blackhawks as a formidable playoff contender in Division 2. As the postseason begins, Bellingham will carry forward the confidence of a season-ending sweep and the momentum earned from a strong finish to pursue a deep tournament run.
