The Blackstone Valley Beavers are finding their stride after a commanding 20-1 win over Keefe Tech last Friday, a turnaround from earlier setbacks against Uxbridge and Bay Path RVT. In a season that started with two tough defeats, the Beavers finally showcased their potential, thanks largely to standout performances by Max Pilkington and Cam Roy.
Pilkington was exceptional, going 2-for-2 with 4 RBIs, driving in critical runs to solidify the win. In tandem, Roy matched the effort, also recording 4 RBIs and hitting two doubles during the game. Their performances have not gone unnoticed, as both players are in the running for the first Daily News Baseball Player of the Week, a title to be announced on April 14th at noon.
