UXBRIDGE – A thoughtful gesture is making a difference in the community thanks to VFW Post 1385 in Uxbridge.
The Post continues to run a small nonperishable food pantry for members and guests who may need a little extra support. The pantry was recently restocked with soups, pasta, sauce, canned vegetables, tuna, and other essentials — and bags are available for anyone who needs them.
Whether someone is facing a tough week or just needs a little help getting by, the Post wants neighbors to know the food is there for them. It’s a simple act of kindness that speaks volumes about community spirit.
The Post is located at 13 Crossing Rd in Uxbridge, open Tuesdays through Sundays from noontime to 7 PM and closed on Mondays.
