MILFORD – Milford High School Computer Science and Robotics teacher Anthony Salvador is gaining real-world industry experience this summer through the ExGen Teacher Externship Program at Omni Control Tech.
The externship allows educators to step outside the classroom and into local businesses, where they can learn firsthand about today’s workplace practices, emerging technologies, and career pathways. During his time at Omni Control Tech, Salvador is exploring how advanced technology, robotics, and manufacturing systems work together in a professional setting.
The experience will allow him to bring valuable real-world knowledge back to his computer science and robotics students, helping strengthen the connection between classroom learning and the skills needed for future careers.
Organizers thanked Omni Control Tech for partnering with the ExGen program and supporting educators as they build stronger connections between education and industry.
