MILFORD – The Milford Community School Use Program is launching a new program designed to give local children a full day of fun, exploration, and adventure through monthly field trips and activities.
Called Community Use Adventures, the program will take place once a month, with each session featuring a new destination along with activities designed to encourage children to explore, learn, and make new memories.
The first Community Use Adventures trip will take children to Tougas Family Farm for apple picking. The program is open to children in kindergarten through seventh grade. Following the farm visit, participants will enjoy lunch before spending the afternoon taking part in games, activities, and other surprises.
The inaugural program is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, from 8 AM to 4 PM The cost is $75 per child, and spots are limited.
Gianna Krovocheck, head program instructor and camps supervisor for the Milford Community School Use Program, said the organization is excited about the new program and has more trips planned for the coming months.
“Come discover new places, try new things, and make unforgettable memories along the way,” Krovocheck said.
Families interested in Community Use Adventures are encouraged to secure their spot soon due to limited availability.
