MENDON – Mendon resident Dawn Carey Piecarski is collecting donations for The Boodle Brigade, a national organization that sends holiday care packages to service members serving overseas.
Piecarski’s goal is to collect enough donations to fill multiple boxes and send an extra piece of home to service members during the holiday season.
Donations are being sought for both men and women and can include deodorant, body wash, personal care items, candy, beef jerky, nonperishable snacks and other items that may be difficult for service members to access while serving away from home. Cards and handwritten notes thanking service members for their service are also welcome.
Anyone interested in contributing, or who has questions about how and where to donate, can reach out to Dawn Carey Piecarski through her post on the Mendon MA Bulletin Board on Facebook.
