MEDWAY – On Saturday, December 6th from 7:30 to 11 AM, the Medway BSA Scouts will be hosting their Santa Breakfast at the Saint Joseph’s Parish Center. This annual event will help fundraise the troop’s expenses and travel costs.

Boy scouts from Troops 367 and 108 will be cooking the breakfast, including foods such as pancakes, eggs, ham, coffee, and more. A silent auction will also take place, featuring gifts and services from local businesses. Lastly, guests will have the chance to take a photo with Santa Claus for $20.

Admissions are $11 per adult, $8 per child, and $31 per family. Local businesses interested in donating to the silent auction are recommended to contact @MedwaySantaBreakfast on Facebook.

Fred Hopke, the committee chair for Troop 367 in Medway, mentioned that expenses for BSA scout services “continue to go up”. By attending the breakfast, Medway troops will have an easier time covering their expenses for trips and services.

“We want to be in a position to keep this affordable for the boys”, according to Hopke. “This is an experience for all these boys to learn leadership skills, and we use these experiences to make them into better individuals and bring them into being great citizens for our country”.

The Saint Joseph’s Parish Center is located at 145 Holliston Street in Medway.
