MEDWAY – The Medway Village Food Pantry has reached a major milestone in its campaign to build a new home for the organization, successfully raising $45,000 to meet its community matching gift challenge.

Pantry officials thanked the hundreds of donors, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the goal a reality, saying the new facility will provide neighbors in need with a welcoming space centered on dignity, choice, and compassion.

The matching challenge was made possible through the generosity of Valvoline Instant Oil Change dba Henley Enterprises and the Nelson family, whose contribution encouraged additional giving throughout the campaign.

With the fundraising goal now achieved, the pantry says it looks forward to opening the doors of its new facility and continuing its mission of serving the Medway community for years to come.
